The Foundation General Fund allows the AMA Foundation maximum flexibility to make the most impact. Donations to this fund are unrestricted in use, allowing the Foundation to apply dollars to areas of greatest need such as the development of a new program or the acquisition of an important museum artifact or object. The General Fund also provides some support for necessary administrative and fundraising costs so staff can continue to push the Foundation mission forward.
